CG Technical Director
CG TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
We are currently on the lookout for a CG Technical Director to join the team!

In this role, you will oversee, coordinate and collaborate with team leads and artists to ensure the smooth running and advancement of our studio’s CG pipeline. You will optimize workflows, automate processes, and ensure efficient data management throughout the production lifecycle.
Expected Tasks:
- Troubleshooting technical issues that extend across multiple departments.
- Working with team leads and artists to guide the design of efficient workflows and tools.
- Integrate third-party software and APIs into the pipeline as needed to support specific production requirements. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely support to production teams to minimize downtime and maintain project schedules.
- Where necessary, you will learn additional skills required to aid in production and assist others as required.
- Ensure all work follows studio policies and guidelines.
Essential skills:
- Understanding the requirements of asset, rigging, animation and lighting teams and guiding projects towards solutions that best suit the overall team’s skills and workload.
- Developing and maintaining tools, scripts, and plugins to streamline animation production workflows using industry-standard software such as Maya
- Prioritising tasks to have the most impact with the time and resources available.
