Our
Story
Over the past decade Pixel Zoo has crafted some of the most memorable animation coming out of Australia.
The animation and rendering pipeline that we have pioneered allows us to deliver a huge amount of work at a high quality each week. Our projects are split between our GPU based in-house renderfarm and a cutting edge Unreal Engine lighting and rendering solution.

Our
Services
Pixel Zoo can take over any stages of development for your projects. We usually go from storyboard to final delivery, with in-house assets, animation, lighting and render farms. This means we can make every stage at a high quality, including pre-vis, initial tests and co-productions for new IP. Australia also has attractive subsidies in the animation industry for international partners, making our studio an affordable team to partner with.
TV Shows
We team up with brands to create animated TV shows and web series. We also have in-house creative services for pitching and developing new ideas for production.
Movies
Our animation and render teams allow us to create movies at a speed and quality that makes your project stand out – even when in the modern streaming app wall of content.
VFX
Our brand-new VFX Pipeline is a major enhancement to our well-established animation workflow, which has been serving global clients for over 14 years.

At Pixel Zoo we are our staff. We want everyone to have input into the work and worlds we create.
OUR STAFF
We give our 200 staff members ownership of our projects and believe in creative collaboration to make great work. With a diverse team of artists having a voice it allows our work to shine and for our staff to thrive. We have many directors, producers and teams working on different projects in parallel, so there is always something interesting to jump onto.
OUR STUDIO
At Pixel Zoo we have grown from a small studio and maintain a studio culture based on ego-free teamwork and low stress creativity. We also hold internal pitches and produce staff-made content through the studio, to always be pushing our limits creatively. Pixel Zoo is all about work life balance, so in an industry that can be erratic we provide a creative oasis that allows us to do our job well.
