Pipeline Developer
PIPELINE DEVELOPER
We are currently on the lookout for a Pipeline Developer to join the team!

This role tasks you with the evolution and maintenance of the studios’ workflow and codebase across a range of software suites, focussed around Maya. Pixel Zoo are open to applicants with mid to senior-level experience. Your experience would be matched to appropriate levels of guidance and autonomy.
Expected Tasks:
- Writing and maintaining Python-based tools for May and other DCC (digital content creation) suites
- Seeking to understand the context of problems and working methodically and intelligently to identify efficient and novel solutions
- Liaising with all members of the team to accept and share knowledge, identify unresolved problems and develop ideas
- Ensuring all work follows studio policies and guidelines
Essential skills:
- Extensive demonstrated CG generalist OR Python experience is required, applicants with both will be considered highly
- You will be an excellent problem solver with attention to detail
- Communication with others is second nature to you, ensuring the flow of information with production, artists and pipeline stays active
- You are a fast learner who will want to be involved in new workflows, new applications, new code and become familiarised with old code
- You are confident with proposing your ideas for a new workflow
- You are a team player who can support your team and artists when needed
- You can prioritise tasks to have the most impact with the time and resources available.
